The sun was shining and there were lots of smiley happy faces all round.

The under 7's forming a team of five were ready to go and after the first few matches Harwich started to really work as a team with good communication from the 'on the day' appointed captain Charlie O'Connell who quickly organised the teams defensive line on re-starts.

Excellent passing from Belle Turner, Oliver Webber and Charlie O'Connell saw lots of brilliant runs and well deserved try's. Although the under 7's closely lost out on any wins they were only one point at times away from achieving this. They continued to show good spirit and didn't let this effect their games.

Towards the end of the day improved confidence was seen from Ruben Tricker and Bailey Gould which saw some excellent tags being taken from the opposition which made it hard work for them to get past the Harwich side.

All the children thoroughly enjoyed the day and were a credit to the club for their excellent behaviour on and off the pitch. They played their hearts out and we couldn't have asked for anything more. Great day!!
