But also some very good defensive resilience from either team. Harwich broke through the line with a unconverted try from Cian Rothwell, bumping off players on his way to the try line. 20-14. Lewis Williams scored a good team try, converting his own try. 27-14

The match was played in fantastic spirit throughout the whole time the game was in play. Thank you Mistley for coming down and for making the game such a good atmosphere and well contested fixture each year.

Man of the Match for Harwich was Oly Hubbard, for his superb work rate at fly half and very well rounded performance.

Mistley’s Man of the Match was Connor Williams, for his great ball carrying and good defensive stints.

We hope everyone has a fantastic New Year’s Celebrations and we look forward to seeing everyone down at Harwich and Dovercourt in the New Year.
