Harwich put struggling Felixstowe to the sword.

A win would leave Harwich remaining undefeated at home this season in EC 2 and see Felixstowe facing relegation. Harwich proceeded to score 16 tries in a excellent display of running rugby.

Harwich started the game how they would finish, running. From the first exchanges Harwich were attacking and dominating. Tommy Kite scored the first try in the corner for a 5-nil lead. This opened the flood gates and Harwich went onto score a further 7 tries through Ian Flook (2), George Woodley, Kyran Green, Shaun Fox, Jack Cairns, with Fox converting 5 of the tries Harwich had a commanding 45-nil half time lead.

Harwich started the second half how they finished the first, scoring tries. But what was impressive was that Harwich would score more points in the second half than the first.

George Brunning scored an excellent try after some strong running. Paul Sewell then set up Captain Kyle Hutchins after a 40 metre break by the veteran prop. Green then scored another 2 tries, one being a push over try from his dominant pack.

With the chance of 100 points being scored Harwich sped the game up. With Felixstowe unable to stop them Harwichs backs scored another 5 tries through Nick Faliveno, Alex Cullen (2), Josh Jones, and Cairns. With Fox converting 7 of the tries Harwich finished with 104-nil win.

Praise must go to Felixstowe for trying for the whole 80 minutes. Harwich have a week off now before playing Brightlingsea away in two weeks time where they will look to finish off their season with another win.
