After their arranged opposition failed to arrive with enough players the coaching staff rallied round and organised the ladies into two competitive teams to see some rugby played at H&D.
With newcomers on show and some veterans returning after long layoffs the day proved to be a winner with the crowd and the players involved.
The contest resulted in seeing game time for the newcomers and easing the veterans back into contact before the first league fixture which is on 30th October at Low Road.
With the squad growing nicely after reforming earlier this year the club are still looking to increase numbers to become more competitive, should anyone be interested training is on Tuesdays and Thursdays 7pm at Harwich Rugby Club, no experience needed just turn up and give it a go we’d love to see you!
